Crafty Cafe
Crafty Cafe is a arts focused session on Wednesday afternoons. We encourage everyone to work on something freely, whether that be a sculpture or a painting, as well as even working together on something collaboratively.

Headspace
Headspace is a session tailored to neurodiversity. It is a chilled, quiet session on a Thursday morning and we invite anyone who feels they need a more relaxed environment with a smaller group.
Arts & Minds
Arts & Minds is our Thursday afternoon session which is an uplifting, creative session. You might hear the strums of a guitar and the keys of a piano, alongside the more hands on arts and crafts, where we might be preparing for an upcoming exhibition or show.

Men's Shed
A brand new session, the Men's Shed is an exciting, creative and safe space for men to drink tea, talk to eachother and make art in any form. We encourage men of all ages to come and join us at The Open Art Studio.
Community Art Programmes
We also provide many different workshops available to the general public throughout the year. This ranges from lantern making, printmaking, figure drawing, as well as hosting lantern parades, small intimate live music gigs and art exhibitions.

Sounds Good
On the 1st Thursday of every month, Beano, Emma, Joe and Steve Pledger host a fun-filled (and slightly manic) Zoom Music Show. Each show has a local musical guest on as well as a lot of silly segments and some musical segments too! We welcome everyone to come and along and enjoy the... fun?
Lantern of Hope
In partnership with The National Trust Crook Hall Gardens, Lanterns of Hope is an annual event of community groups getting involved to create wonderful lanterns from tissues and willows to celebrate all that is hopeful in Country Durham.
